Yesterday, our city was visited by a unique person - Lidia Lihach, a member of the jury of the International Art Plein Air "The Best Artist / The best artist", director of the Rodovid Publishing House. You can talk a lot about her, but her affairs speak eloquently for themselves. If we talk about Ukrainian culture and its development in times of independence, it is she who personifies one of the "pillars" on which Ukrainian culture and publishing house is associated with this theme.
It seems that recently the best project at all times took place in New York - Sculpture and Icon Ukraine: The History of Salvation (Ukrainian Sculpture and Icons: A History of Their Rescue) and a catalog of the same name exhibition was created, which aimed to highlight the importance of preserving cultural heritage in Ukraine. Its first part represents the collections of President Viktor Yushchenko, Pyotr Gonchar, Igor Grinev, Vladimir Kozyuk, Vasily Vovkun and Lydia Lihach and presents a scientific understanding of the presented monuments of sacred art.
The second part contains the study of cultural historian Sergei Belokon on the history of the destruction of museum institutions and cultural heritage. Then there were a lot of events and publications, among them today "Podolsk Palace".
Vinnitsa is very lucky that this unique woman showed interest in our cultural heritage! We had a lot of joint projects and tasks, but I will always remember the presentation of the book “Cossack Mamai”, when after the Minister’s speech, despite the fact that everyone in the crowded room had a personality with a capital Lidia gave me the floor, saying simply that I personified modern Podolsky "Cossack Mamai", it gave me confidence that I am on the right track, that my affairs are needed by society, it really inspired, so I will be grateful to her all my life!
Just yesterday, people who appreciate culture had the opportunity not only to come to the book’s presentation and purchase the best carpet weaving edition on Podolia, to attend the opening of the carpet exhibition, but also to have the opportunity to talk with the Ukrainian Ukrainian Beregina’s culture! It was really cool, interesting, informative! Appreciate Beregin!
