Zhanna V. Shevchenko
Member of the NUAU, member of the НСМНМУ, Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine.
In 1985 she graduated from the КДХІ (НАОМА), the restoration department, a specialty of painting.
She restored outstanding monumental monuments of the temple heritage of Ukraine of 17-20 centuries. Monumental paintings became another significant part of her work, which was realized in church and secular spaces.
She has created a series of illustrations to the dictionary "Folk Woodworking in Ukraine" (Kyiv, "Artania", 1997), "Ukrainian folk fabric" (Kiev, "Artania", 1999). Creates easel, monumental works.
Annually participates in Ukrainian and international plein airs.
Personal exhibition in the Kiev Art Gallery (Chocolate House).
The artist's paintings were exhibited in Lithuania, Hungary and the USA. Her works are in museum and private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
